The tour departs from Punta Sabbioni and takes you on a discovery of two authentic gems of local craftsmanship.
Enjoy a mini-cruise to San Marco, where you’ll stop briefly to pick up more passengers. You’ll then sail to Murano, world-famous for its ancient glassmaking techniques. Here, you’ll visit one of the island’s renowned glassworks and watch a live demonstration, admiring the artisans’ mastery in creating glass artworks. After this fascinating experience, you’ll have free time to stroll around the island, soaking up its unique atmosphere and browsing the artistic glass workshops. (Total time on the island: approximately 1 hour)
With our guide, the journey will continue to Burano, a picturesque island famous for its lace and brightly colored houses. Here, you can explore the narrow streets of the village and admire the brightly colored houses. You’ll have approximately an hour to soak up the island’s authentic charm. If you wish, our ticket allows you free admission to the Lace Museum (ask your guide).
The tour ends at San Marco – Pontile Cornoldi, where you can enjoy some free time in the heart of Venice, admiring the famous square and historic monuments. Shuttles back to Punta Sabbioni depart from the arrival point at 4:45 PM or 6:00 PM, giving you the flexibility to choose the time that’s most convenient for you.
